A Global Move of God
Awakening a Generation in Southwest Florida
The story of Vine Church began 25 years ago in Goiânia, Brazil—not as a traditional institution but as a movement of passionate believers. What started with just 40 people grew into a global discipleship movement that now spans 40+ countries with over 1,200 churches.
Founded by Pastors Aluízio Silva and Naor Pedrosa, Vine Church was built on a radical conviction: every believer is called to be a minister—not just attendees but disciple-makers who bring transformation to communities.
🔥 In 2003, more than 3,000 people were baptized in a single day.
🌍 In 2020, amid a global crisis, Vine Church baptized 15,000 people worldwide—a testimony to a faith without borders.
Inspired by 1 Peter 2:9, this movement has reshaped how churches multiply—through intimate, relational gatherings known as LifeGroups. Today, Vine Church is a vibrant, worldwide family connected by one mission: to reach generations through discipleship and community.
Vine Church SWFL: The Awakening Comes to America
In 2012, Pastors Raphael and Juliana Fernandes carried the Vine DNA to the U.S., planting Vine Church in Fort Myers, FL.
With a vision straight from God, they launched a disciple-making church that multiplies from house to house—mirroring the movement that began in Brazil.
Today, Vine Church SWFL stands as a living testimony that what God started in one nation has no borders. We are a part of a global awakening—one heart, one mission, and one vision to transform lives through relationships.
